Final Week For Colored Pencil Exhibit At Cultural Corner

A Colored Pencil art exhibit at the Cultural Corner Art Guild and Gallery features the work of Artist Wanda Taylor.  The exhibit runs through Thursday, September 27th and will include a closing reception.

Taylor says Drawing has always been a passion of hers, ever since she could remember. The simple act of putting pencil to paper iss something she finds thrilling, and even at times therapeutic.

Taylor teaches workshops and classes at The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph and previously taught at Missouri Western State University for the Community Arts Program, Artscape, and MWSU day camp for kids.

She says she will occasionally teach workshops in other surrounding areas because teaching keeps her inspired and allows her to share her love of colored pencils with other aspiring artists.

A closing reception is September 27th, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and is free and open to the public.  This will include a final viewing of Taylor’s work and an opportunity to meet her in person.
