Two Arrests In Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

The Chillicothe Police Department investigated several calls and made two arrests Monday.

6:40 am, Officers dispatched to a business alarm in the 500 block of Washington St…False alarm.

8:55 am, Officers were dispatched to a home in the 1300 block of Springhill Road, on a report of damage to property within the home. They were told that possibly another resident at the address who was intoxicated had done the damage. No report.

10:15 am, Officers arrested Joel Kellison at the Livingston County Courthouse on a warrant for alleged violation of bond conditions. Subject was transported to Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

10:35 am, Complaint of dogs getting into trash in 1900 block of Litton Road. Info was given to Animal Control.

10:50 am, Officers performed a well being check in the 200 block of Central Street.  The person was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for assistance.

11:50 am, Animal complaint in the 1100 block of Polk Street.  The report states the residents apparently moved from property and left animals behind. Animal Control was contacted.

5:15 pm, Officers were called to the 1000 block of Graves Street on a possible shoplifting.  A person was observed, and officers determined the person was wanted by State Board of Probation and Parole.  The officers attempted to arrest Joshua Holtzclaw, who allegedly resisted arrest by fleeing the premises but was arrested just south of the business. Holtzclaw was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
