Two Chillicothe residents were injured in accidents investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Friday, 25 year old Alyssa Kapp of Chillicothe had minor injuries in an accident at about 5:15 pm, in Macon County. The report states Kapp was eastbound on US 36, west of New Cambria, when she struck a deer. She was taken to Samaritan Hospital in Macon. She was wearing a safety belt.
Early this morning, Cody Kanniainen of Chillicothe had minor injuries when he ran into the trailer of another vehicle, traveling north on Interstate 35, just south of Cameron. The report states He was taken to Cameron Medical Center for treatment. The other driver was not injured.
