The Chillicothe Police Department report for Monday includes a couple arrests and an accident near the high school.
2:10 pm, Officers arrested Joshua Alexander of Chillicothe, on a Probation/Parole violation warrant and for alleged felon in possession of a firearm…He was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
2:30 pm, A vehicle that was reported stolen from Lindley Funeral Home on earlier date was recovered parked in an alley in the 100 block of Webster St. The vehicle was returned to owner.
3:05 pm, Officer investigated a three vehicle crash at Hornet Drive and Hwy. 190. No injuries were reported. The report states a vehicle driven by Matthew Anthony collided with the rear of a vehicle driven by Chloe Peery which then collided with the rear of a vehicle driven by Brennan Munson. Matthew Anthony was cited for following too close causing an accident.
7:20 pm, Officers responded to a report of suspicious acting person walking near Broadway and Rt. V. They made contact and found that person was OK.
10:10 pm, John Meyer of Chillicothe was arrested in the 800 block of Samuel Street on a Chillicothe warrant for alleged failure to register a motor vehicle. He was processed and released after posting a $150.00 cash bond.
10:25 pm, Responded to complaint of a loud truck revving its engine in the 300 block of Webster St. The owner shut engine off.
