The Grand River Heart Restart – Run For Your Heart is Saturday evening, with registration at 4:30, a costume contest at 5:00 and the 5K run starting at 5:45. The 5k run will start at the Chillicothe Fire Department and will follow a route that will end at the North Missouri Center For Youth and Families. Danny Perry from Hedrick Medical Center says this event is a fundraiser to purchase AED’s to place throughout the Grand River Region.
Registration for the run is available on site. The cost is $25.
Perry says the event includes a costume contest prior to the run.
Prizes will be awarded for the costume contest and men’s & women’s medals will be presented in several age categories for the race.
