The Chillicothe Police Department had a busy Monday, with several calls for service.
Around 8:20 pm, officers assisted with a Carroll County Kidnapping report. They checked a home in the 1000 block of Olive Street. They also checked several other possible locations with no success. At about 10:35 pm, officers returned to the Olive Street address. The child was found safe and unharmed. The child was returned to Carroll County officers. A suspect was not located.
Just before 1:00 am, they did a well being check on a juvenile in the 1300 block of Burnam Road. The child was taken to Hedrick Medical Center and parents were contacted.
At about 7:25 am, Burglary and theft of a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of Ryan. The vehicle was later found in Independence and had been crashed. A suspect was identified.
Officers assisted with Child Abuse investigations at about 2:05 pm in the 1500 block of Calhoun; 3:00 pm in the 500 block of West Mohawk and 4:20 in the 200 block of Clay.
