Chillicothe Police Respond To A Couple Accidents Wednesday

The Chillicothe Police Department investigated a couple accidents and made one arrest Wednesday.

At 7:00 am, Officers arrested Loren M. Tripp on a Caldwell County arrest warrant. Tripp posted bond and was released.

At 8:15 am, Officer responded to Springhill Rd. and Bradley Lane for a vehicle in the ditch. The report states the vehicle had gotten too close to the roadway edge and slid into the ditch. The 16 year old driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and tobacco products. Information was sent to Juvenile Authority.

At 12:48 pm, Officer performed a motorist assist in the 700 block of Clay Street.

6:10pm, Officers were called to a business lot in the 600 block of Business 36, where they found a vehicle had driven into a ditch.  Emergency services responded for the driver, who denied treatment.  The vehicle was pulled from the ditch and there was no report.

At about 6:20pm, someone came into the police department to report harassment.  The investigation continues.

8:45 pm, Officers responded to the 200 block of Williams for a domestic disturbance.  The incident was verbal and no arrests were made.

9:50 pm, Another disturbance was reported at business in the 500 block of Business 36.   No disturbance was found.
