Filing for the City and School board elections in April begins This Morning.
For the City of Chillicothe, ALL elected seats will be on the ballot for the April Election. That includes Mayor, Councilman At Large, the four Council Seats, the City Clerk and City Auditor.
Chillicothe has three offices that have no duties but are on the ballot. They are the City Treasurer, City Attorney and City Constable.
Filing for each seat includes a $20 Filing Fee.
Filing for City offices is done at the City Clerks office during normal business hours, through January 15th
For the Chillicothe R-II School Board, there are three seats that will be on the ballot. Those seats are currently held by:
Ron Wolf – that is for one year remaining on the seat.
The other two seats are held by Brent Turner and Robin Quinn. Those are for three year terms.
Filing for the Chillicothe School Board is done at the District Office.
School Board elections will be held at the other area school districts as well, with candidate filing at their district office.
