Improvements To Chillicothe City Hall Accessibility
The north entrance to City Hall is undergoing a few changes to improve handicapped accessibility. City Administrator Darrin Chappell says the work was moved up because of problems with the ramp.
Chappell says the City Street Department has torn out the old ramp and built a temporary ramp that goes towards the alley. He says they are working to replace the ramp and improve the entryway.
He says the ADA requires a 4 foot wide ramp, and they are building a 5 foot wide ramp to provide additional room as the ramp is used.
