The Chillicothe R-II School Board will ask voters for an 80 cents Operations Levy on the April Ballot. Superintendent Dr Roger Barnes says this is to help cover the cost of educating students.
Dr Barnes says if the levy is approved in the April Election, they plan to put part of the levy in effect immediately.
The School Board has until January 15th to finalize the ballot language and prepare the filing with the state for the April Election.
