The Christmas holiday travel period will begin Friday night and stretch all the way to Wednesday morning. The Missouri Highway Patrol will be on the road through the entire period, to handle enforcement and to help motorists as needed. Sargent Jake Angle from the Highway Patrol says part of your preparation for any travel in the winter is checking on the weather.
Angle says if you are on the road and you are in need of assistance, call the Highway Patrol.
