The Chillicothe Police Department report for Tuesday includes an early morning arrest and several calls for service.
At about 1:15 am, Officers found a vehicle parked in Danner Park after hours. When they checked the vehicle, they arrested Thomas Veach for alleged possession of marijuana. Veach was processed and released on a Municipal Citation.
12:15 pm, Officers checked a parking complaint in the 500 block of Washington St.
12:25 pm, Officers assisted a stranded motorist at Third and Washington St.
1:05 pm, Officers were dispatched to check the well-being of a resident in the 200 block of Park Lane.
2:10 pm, Officers investigated a report of possible child abuse in the 200 block of Gale Street. The incident was unfounded.
5:10 pm, Officers checked the well-being of children in the 400 block of Elm Street. The found that children were being properly cared for.
7:25 pm, property damage was reported in the 10 block of Brunswick.
10:00 pm, Officers responded to a report of careless driving in the 2600 block of North Washington. The vehicle was gone upon Officer’s arrival.
