Chillicothe Police Report For Monday Includes A Couple Accidents

The Chillicothe Police Department had several accidents and investigations in the report for Monday.

7:15 am, Officers received a complaint of a dog running loose near Polk and Dickinson Streets.  The owner was given a warning.

7:45 am, No injuries were reported in an accident at Polk and Locust Streets.  Icy roads were a factor in the crash.  Minor damage was reported.

7:55 am, Officers responded to an accident at Woodrow and Third Streets.  No injuries were reported.  One driver was cited for no insurance.

8:00 am, Officers took accident information for an accident north of Chillicothe and passed it on to the highway Patrol.

10:45 am, Officer took a report of a wallet stolen from the owner while at a business in the 1100 block of Walnut Street.

12:30 pm, Officer received a report of someone making threats over the phone.   Officer spoke with the parties involved and no report was made.

7:15 pm, Received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked by Livingston County Court House with engine running and people inside.  The vehicle was checked and was waiting on someone.

9:05 pm, An open door was found on a business in the 400 block of Washington Street. The building was secured at owner’s request.

9:45 pm, Officers performed a well-being check at a residence in the 1500 block of Bryan Street.  A family member was contacted and took the person of the check for medical treatment.
