The Missouri State Fair is August 8th to the 18th and Director Mark Wolfe says one of the goals of the fair is to keep you entertained.
Wolfe says when you visit the Fair, you may find some of your local firefighters and paramedics on duty. He says they have a full-time Fire Department at the fair.
Wolfe says many of the youth that show animals at the Missouri State Fair have done well at their county fair as well.
The Missouri State Fair runs 11 days beginning August 8th.
