Chillicothe Police Had A Busy Friday

Chillicothe Police had 118 calls for service on Friday.

1:26 am, Officers responded to 800 block of Walnut Street in reference to a 911 call.  The resident was contacted and the call was unfounded.

8:03 am, Officers took a report of someone asleep in their car at Danner Park.  They were gone on Officers arrival.

11:14 am, Officer observed a child playing too close to the roadway in the 200 block of Samuel Street and spoke to them about safety.

1:01 pm, Officer stopped a vehicle at Country Club and Lambert for a traffic violation.  The driver was given a warning for the traffic violation.

2:21 pm, Officers responded to Jackson Street near Washington Street for an accident. During the investigation, Officers determined the driver had backed up, and did not see the other Vehicle due to a large pickup truck parked in the parking stall on Jackson Street blocking the view.  No injuries and no citations issued.

3:50 pm, Officers took a report of a suspicious acting person at Gravesville Park.  Officer was unable to locate the person.

7:46 pm, A disturbance was reported in the 400 block of Polk Street.  The subject of the call was subsequently arrested on a Probation/Parole warrant and transported to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.

8:12 pm, Officers made a well-being check of a juvenile in the 300 block of Wilson St.  Investigation led to arrest of one person for possession of a controlled substance and they were processed, cited and released.
