Chillicothe Police Report For The Weekend

The Chillicothe Police Department had 130 calls for service over the weekend.

Saturday:

5:44 am Officers responded to the 400 block of Dickenson for a missing juvenile. She later returned to her residence.

10:16 am. Officers responded to the Hedrick Medical Center for possible stealing. They determined that no stealing had occurred.

3:57 pm, Officers were called to the 600 block of Walnut for a possible assault. This case is under investigation.

4:08 pm, Officers responded to the 100 block of North Herriford, on a report of stealing. Items stolen include a wood hutch, his bank card and identification card. The investigation continues.

6:14 pm, Officers arrested Steven Phillips on a Caldwell County Warrant. Phillips was released to Caldwell County Deputies.

10:59 pm, Officers responded to the 1000 block of South Washington for a possible assault. The investigation continues.

Sunday

10:32 am Officers made a traffic stop at US 36 Highway and US 65 Highway. Officers arrested Charles Chun Yu Hung for alleged driving while suspended and on a Cass County warrant. He posted bond and was released.

2:50 pm, Officers began an investigation of a sexual assault that occurred about ten years ago. The investigation continues.

5:01 pm, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street, for shoplifting. Officers arrested Jacob Ryan Marinez and Devin Lynn Macclain for alleged shoplifting. Both were processed and released.

5:22 pm, Officers responded 400 block of Polk Street, regarding a suicidal subject with a knife. They arrived to find the person was not suicidal and did not have a knife.  They did make contact with two people at the home involved in a verbal domestic disturbance.

6:59 pm, Officers responded to the area of Dickenson and Directory for young children playing in the street. The children were advised not to play in the street.
