A Tax Rate hearing will lead off the meeting for the Chillicothe R-II School Board tonight. The Tax Rate hearing begins at 6:15 pm at the Grand River Tech Conference Room. The rate for 2019 is the same as last year, $4.716 per hundred dollar valuation.
Following the Tax Rate Hearing, at 6:30 pm is the School Board meeting. That agenda includes setting the tax rate. They will also consider approving a list of Missouri School Board Association policy updates and re-adopt a conflict of interest policy, which occurs every other year.
The board will vote on approving a Special Education Local Compliance Plan for the new school year.
There will also be an executive session that could include litigation, real estate, personnel, and students issues.
