Sheriff’s Report Includes Several Arrests

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report for early November includes a few arrests.

Incident Reports:

November 07 the LCSO has completed a sex offender registration violation investigation where a registered offender allegedly did not comply with the Halloween law and also was found to be living at an address he has not reported. A report was submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration.

November 8th a citizen reported finding a small safe on or near U.S. 36 in Livingston County. Zaki did a sniff around the safe and gave a positive indication to the odor or drug(s). Further investigation showed the seizure of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia commonly used with methamphetamine.

November 12th, the School Resource Officer filed a report of a theft at Chillicothe High School. Allegedly a juvenile had stolen an extra pair of jeans from another student during school hours. The jeans have been recovered from the possession of a juvenile seen on camera with them. Parents, School Administration and Juvenile Office are aware of the incident and handling it accordingly.

LCSO has completed an investigation of alleged sex offender registration violation where a newly registered offender reported living in violation of proximity law to school and/or daycare.  The person has since allegedly changed addresses and not reported to the LCSO. A report was sent to the prosecuting attorney for consideration.

Most Wanted Updates:

33-year-old Matthew J. Lohman is wanted on a second warrant for alleged Failure to Appear.  Lohman was already wanted on a warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order on a harassment charge.

Lauren Baker of Braymer is wanted on a warrant for alleged Forgery.  Bond was placed at $7,500 cash.

November 13 added 43-year-old Joel Tracy Kellison of Chillicothe is wanted on Livingston County warrant for alleged Probation Violation.  Bond set at $50,000.

37-year-old Travis Dale Anderson of Chillicothe has a second warrant issued for alleged Failure to Appear.  Bond is set at $2,500.  Anderson is also wanted on the original warrant for alleged Possession of Controlled Substance and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

30-year-old Melinda Dawn Hedrick of Braymer is now wanted on a second warrant for alleged Failure to Appear.  That warrant carries bond of $5,000 cash.  She is also wanted on a warrant issued in September for alleged Violation of Bond Condition on original class D felony Possession of Controlled Substance. Bond on that case was set at $50,000 cash.

Arrests:

November 10 a deputy was monitoring activity in Wheeling about 4:30 pm and checked a vehicle at 22 over the posted speed limit.  39-year-old Katherine E. Barnhart of Wheeling was stopped and arrested for alleged speeding and Driving While Revoked or Suspended.  She was processed and released.

38-year-old Matthew A. Ritchie of Chillicothe was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order on a charge of alleged Possession of Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $10,000 and he was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

November 13th, 26-year-old Kelsey Mae Reeter of Chillicothe was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Possession of Controlled Substance. Reeter was processed and released.
