Chillicothe Man In Custody On Meth Charges

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department reports a Meth Bust that resulted from a traffic stop.  On November 19th, a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle at about 3:55 pm for alleged improper license and the driver was known to allegedly have a revoked license.  The person failed to yield to the emergency light for more than a mile and finally stopped in the 200 block of Second Street in Chillicothe.

As a result of the stop and the investigation, the deputy arrested 43-year-old Barry Cooper of Chillicothe for alleged delivery of a controlled substance – Meth and driving while revoked.  Cooper was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

At the time of the arrest, Cooper was on parole for a 2018 conviction for delivery of a controlled substance.
