A Woman On The Run For A Year Was Arrested In Chillicothe

A woman that was wanted by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department for a year was arrested when she was found in a closet.

Multiple leads earlier this month lead to the arrest of 39-year-old Miranda Nicole Adams of Chillicothe.  Adams was wanted on a warrant for alleged Violation of Bond Conditions on the original charge of alleged Possession of Controlled Substance.  Her new bond set at $100,000 cash.

Sheriff Steve Cox says on November 18th, deputies were in the 1200 block of Monroe Street in Chillicothe on this investigation and after multiple attempts to make contact.  A woman answered the door and told deputies the woman was not in the residence.

Cox says a search of the home revealed a locked door to a room that required a security code.  The man who uses that room was brought to the home and entered the passcode to his room.  The deputies determined the room had been locked from inside. They determined the woman was in the room and she was found hiding in a closet.
