Chillicothe Police Report For Thanksgiving Day

The Chillicothe Police Department had a fairly quiet day Thursday, with 69 calls for service.

12:31 am, Officer performed a motorist assist in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street.

12:44 am, Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of Samuel Street that was observed parked in the street and engine running.  The vehicle was found to belong to the son of the resident.

1:45 am, Noise complaint in the 500 block of Third Street.  Subjects contacted told officers they would keep it down.

5:24 am, Officer spoke with a resident of the 1300 block of Webster Street in reference to someone having gone through their cars.

10:30 am, Report of theft from two vehicles that were in the 10 block of Hickory Street.  A billfold and cash were taken overnight.

11:38 am, Request try to contact someone at a business in the 500 block of W. Business 36.  The were not at the location.

8:48 pm, Officers assisted Emergency Services on a medical call at a business in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street.

9:23 pm, Officer spoke on the phone with an out-of-town resident reference they had received a Facebook message. The message was from a Chillicothe resident, wanting them to contact the Chillicothe PD about an incident that had occurred in Chillicothe.  The report was deemed as unfounded.

9:32 pm, Officers contacted someone in the 1000 block of Polk Street about their concern for a neighbor and about having sent the unfounded Facebook message.
