Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

There were 91  calls for service for the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday.  Those calls included:

4:29 am, Noise complaint in the 300 block of Wise Street.  Someone was using tools of some type.  The officers made contact made with the person who agreed to cease and not do it anymore.

7:41 am, Officer out at Bishop Hogan School on a public relations detail.

10:08 am, Subject in the PD with questions on the Eviction process.

10:50 am, Officers took a report of a Chillicothe citizen receiving a scam check in the mail.

11:35 am, A resident in the 1100 block of Fairway Drive reported their garage was entered and a long gun stolen from a vehicle that was parked in the garage in the overnight hours.

11:54 am, Officers checked the well-being of a person in the 1100 block of Olive Street.  They were not home.

12:18 pm, An officer was out at business in the 700 block of Elm Street on a report of leaving without paying for fuel.  Information on person was obtained and report taken.

12:38 pm, Officers investigated a report of a dog bite that occurred in the 300 block of E. Bridge Street.  The dog owner was contacted and information was sent to the County Health Center.

12:52 pm, Officers made a well-being check in the 1200 block of Clay Street.

1:08 pm, Officers responded to a Loud music complaint in the 300 block of Wise Street.  They agreed to turn music down.

2:37 pm, Parking complaint in the 1300 block of Cooper Street.  The vehicle was gone on the Officer’s arrival.

2:37 pm, Officer at PD at the request of a resident to view some possible illegal documents.  No report.

2:43 pm, Parking complaint on Dickinson Street near Dewey School.  School Resource Officer handled the complaint.

3:20 pm, Officers checked a report of a possible fire at the rear of a business in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street.  Officers unable to locate a fire.

3:53 pm, Officer attempting paper service at a home in the 1400 block of Clay Street.  The recipient was not there.

4:53 pm, Officer took control of a small puppy at Danner Park.

5:08 pm, Officer out for traffic control in the area of Calhoun and Elm Streets.  People were driving around barricades that were in place for a downtown event.

6:09 pm, Officers assisted Emergency Services with traffic control for a propane tank on fire in the 1400 block of Clay Street.

6:53 pm, Report of vehicle backing into a Cart collecting Mule at a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street.  No injuries and minor damage.  information exchanged by involved parties.

10:10 pm, Report of the road blocked at Walnut and Ann Streets.  The vehicle moved from the roadway.
