Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

The weather slowed calls slightly for Chillicothe Police on Monday.

4:02 am, Call from a resident in the 1000 block of Polk Street reporting subject going from door to door, talking out of her head.  The person was contacted and was left in the care of a relative.  No report.

11:06 am, responded to the 1400 block of Dorney of a complaint of a dog barking.  The Officer spoke with the resident.

11:52 am, Officer checking well-being of a child in the 1400 block of Burnam Road.  The child was found to be OK.. The parent was in the back yard.

3:04 pm, Officer picked up some lost property from the 1000 block of Graves Street.

3:04 pm, Officer checked on a vehicle that had been parked on a business property in the 400 block of Madison Street.  Vehicle not stolen.  Property owners were advised of options.

4:09 pm, Officer assisted another agency in a call for a vehicle leaving without paying for fuel.

4:13 pm, Officer provided back-up for a deputy that was checking the well-being of the driver at US-65 and US-36 Junction.  All OK.

9:01 pm, Officers checked a parking complaint at Fairchild and Dorney Drive.  Officer determined the vehicles to be legally parked.

Numerous traffic stops, continuing investigations and building security checks.

Chillicothe Police received 77 calls for service on 12/16/2019.
