Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 83 calls for service Tuesday.  Among those calls were numerous traffic stops and continued investigations.  Some of the calls for Tuesday include:

9:54 am, Officer with Juvenile transport to-and-from a facility in Lee’s Summit.

11:49 am, Officers responded to a business in the 1300 block of N. Washington Street for a dispute over fees assessed and service provided.  The person was gone when the Officers arrived.  The police department left a trespass notice on the person’s voicemail.

2:22 pm, Officers at business in the 300 block of N. Washington St., Possible scam.  No report.

3:28 pm, Officer recovered a cell phone that someone had found in the street on 11th Street.

4:16 pm, Officers served a probation and parole warrant in the 10 block of S. Washington St. The person was brought to the PD, processed and later taken to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.

4:24 pm,  A traffic stop was made for traffic violations and the driver was issued two citations; for expired plates and no insurance.

4:32 pm, A parking complaint was checked in the 400 block of Grandview Street.  A vehicle was reported blocking mailboxes.   No violations were observed by Officer.

11:12 pm, Officer checked the well-being of someone in the area of Second and Hickory.  The person was OK, and was obtaining an article from their vehicle.
