An injury accident and one arrest are in the Missouri Highway Patrol report for the local counties this weekend.
Two Milan residents were injured in a single-vehicle roll-over accident early Sunday morning. At about 2:10 am in Adair County, 23-year-old Devin Moss of Milan was eastbound on Missouri Highway 6 near Novinger and fell asleep. He ran off the road, hit a culvert and went airborne. The vehicle overturned and Moss was ejected from the vehicle. Moss had moderate injuries, his passenger, 21-year-old Caleb Meseke of Milan, had minor injuries. They were both taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment. They were not wearing safety belts.
Sunday at about 5:20 pm in Linn county, Troopers arrested 53-year-old Hermilo Orta Escamilla of Brookfield for alleged driving without a license. She was processed at the Brookfield Police Department and released.
