Chillicothe Police Report Includes Cow In The Road

Chillicothe Police Officers responded to 92 calls for service Tuesday.  Some of the calls include:

At 8:54 am, Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident on a private parking lot in the 1000 block of Graves St.

9:26 am, Officers were called to the 1100 block of Jackson Street to assist Probation/Parole Officers with the arrest a man on a Parole Warrant.  The report states the man fled on foot.

11:08 AM, Officers responded to Calhoun and Cherry Street for a report of a man with a Parole Warrant.  The man was located and officers attempted to make contact.  The man fled on foot but was caught in the 1100 block of Webster.  Andrew Crosby McCollum was arrested on a Parole Warrant.  As a result of the incident, they will be pursuing charges for alleged Resisting Arrest, Possession of Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Tampering with Evidence.

12:22 pm, Officers responded to a report of a cow on US 65 at the north city limits. The cow was caught by the owners.

12:46 pm, a freezer fell off of a vehicle in the 1900 block of Polk St.

4:00 pm, Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Washington Street in reference to a possible mail fraud issue.

6:02 pm, Officers assisted a parent with an out of control juvenile in the 200 block of Locust St. The situation was resolved and information will be forwarded to the Juvenile Office.

Chillicothe officers were stationed at Hedrick Medical Center to guard a prisoner/patient overnight.
