Above Normal Precipitation Expected

While the month of February has been relatively dry, the past six months Chillicothe is above normal in precipitation.  The total precipitation was measured at 17.39 inches, about 3.79 inches above normal.  National Weather Service Meteorologist Spencer Mell says the Spring Outlook was just released by the Climate Prediction Center.

Mell explains what that means for Missouri and areas prone to flooding.

For the temperatures across the area, Mell says we have equal chances of above or below normal.
