Chillicothe Police Report For The Weekend

One hundred 50 calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department over the weekend.  The calls included:

Saturday:

1:45 am, a commercial burglary alarm in the 300 block of Henry St. The building was secure – false alarm.

10:00 am, Officers responded to a report of a firearm being stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Polk St.

12:07 pm, Officers responded to a report of illegal burning in the 1400 block of Webster St. The resident was instructed to extinguish the fire and given a warning about illegal burning.

12:37 pm, a domestic disturbance was reported in the 2700 block of Washington Street. The incident was found to be verbal.

1:52 pm, Officers were dispatched to a report of firearms being discharged in the area of E. Polk Street. The person was outside the city limits shooting at targets

1:55 pm, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 10 block of Jennifer Lane. The incident was determined to be verbal.

4:40 pm, Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1300 block of Monroe St. The incident was determined to be verbal.

4:43 pm, stealing from a business was reported in the 400 block of Park Lane. Officers in Carroll County located the female suspect and recovered the stolen property. A Chillicothe Police Officer responded to Carrollton, recovered the property and the suspect was cited and released

7:16 pm, Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 1400 block of McVey St. Officers spoke to both parties involved and the issue was resolved.

 

Sunday:

9:43 am, Officers responded to a report of a tree limb in the roadway on Mack St.

3:30 pm, Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1300 block of Monroe St. The incident was found to be verbal.

4:08 pm, Officers were dispatched to assist Livingston County Sheriff Deputies in serving arrest warrants in the 10 block of Jennifer Lane.

6:39 pm, Officers located an illegal trash fire in the 400 block of Vine St. Officers instructed the resident to extinguish the fire and advised them of the Ordinance violation.

7:01 pm, Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of Washington Street.
