City Moving Forward With Website Redesign

The City of Chillicothe will have a new website soon.  The City Council on Monday approved moving forward in the process.  City Clerk Roze Frampton says they received six proposals from companies that design websites, five have worked with other municipalities.  She says they narrowed the selection to two companies and on Monday, the council approved Civic Plus, LLC for the website redesign, implementation and hosting.

Civic Plus offered a package that will benefit the parks department called Civic Rec.  Parks Director Josh Norris talked about how that could help his department.

He says the package would also have an interactive calendar so the public could see what shelters are available on certain dates.

The Council approved the services of Civic Plus, LLC.  The cost is $8,416 for each of the three years of the contract.  The city would handle updating the information online once the site is established.
