Chillicothe Police Report For Friday

The Chillicothe Police Department handled 115 calls for service Friday.  Some of the calls include:

3:57 am, Officers responded to an address in the 100 block of Jackson Street where a vehicle repossession was taking place.  The vehicle had been found with a dog inside.  Officers found the animal was of a breed that is restricted within the City.  The dog was removed and the owner advised to remedy the ordinance violation within 24 hours or receive a citation.

9:39 am, Officers out in the 900 block of Dickinson Street reference investigation involving a juvenile.  Investigation continuing.

10:37 am, Officer contacted by a resident of the 1000 block of Locust Street that had questions about someone trespassing.

12:12 pm, Officer were at a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street on a report of trespassing.   Two subjects had been trespassed before and were cited and released.

3:39 pm, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street, on a report of shoplifting where the suspect had left the scene.   While officers were on patrol they located the suspect vehicle and the suspect, who was arrested for shoplifting,  processed and released.

3:47 pm, Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Alexander St.  The parties separated and the incident was resolved.  No arrests made.

5:11 pm, Report of kids damaging vehicle on Jennifer Lane. Officers made contact and determined that no crime had occurred.

7:23 pm, Officers assisted another agency in an attempt to execute a warrant.  The subject of the warrant was not at the location.

8:43 pm, Officer removed debris from the roadway in the 400 block of S. Washington Street.
