A Keytesville man was arrested on assault charges early Monday morning. State Troopers arrested 57-year-old Daniel Spotts of Keytesville at about 12:40 am for alleged 2 counts of assault on a special victim. Spotts was taken to the Chariton County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
