Chillicothe Police Report For Saturday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 91 calls for service Saturday.  The calls included:

1:10 am, Officer checked a vehicle in Simpson Park and advised them of park hours.  About 90 minutes later, the police department was called and requested to look for a subject that hadn’t returned to their home in Dawn.  This was found to have been the vehicle seen in Simpson Park.  Several locations were checked but the vehicle was not located.   Later in the morning, a parent called the police to let them know the person returned home.

11:27 am, Officers responded to the 800 block of Business 36 for a domestic assault in a vehicle.  The officers arrived and made contact with a man and woman.  As a result of the investigation, Officers arrested the 21-year-old man for Domestic Assault. He was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

3:06 pm, Report of aggressive dogs in the 1500 block of Locust Street.  The reporting party injured themselves avoiding the dogs.  Officers took possession of the dogs and cited the person responsible for the animals.

4:35 pm, Officers called to Edgewood Cemetery reference a deer had become entangled in a boundary fence and was badly injured.  The deer was dispatched and the Department of Conservation notified.

5:05 pm, Officer out at a home in the 1100 block of Calhoun Street.  Child playing on a phone and calling 911.  The issue was handled by a parent.

10:20 pm, Officers received a complaint from someone in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street of being threatened by people in a vehicle.  The vehicle was located by Officers and it was determined that the occupants of the vehicle were not threatening the subject.  No report.

10:39 pm, Report of loud music from home in the 100 block of Herriman Street.  Residents were contacted and advised they would quiet down.
