The Chillicothe R-II Schools have been out for nearly two weeks and, in that time, they have been making about 800 meals for the youth in the school district each weekday. Superintendent Dan Wiebers says it is amazing the work that is being done.
He says the staff and volunteers are the ones making this possible.
If you are interested in volunteering on the school meal program, call the district office at 646-4566 and they will put you on the list and contact you when you are needed.
