A Norborne man had minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident late Monday morning in Carroll County. State Troopers investigated the accident on Route E near County Road 161. According to the report, at about 11:35 am, 19-year-old Cody Shannon was westbound on Route E and drifted off the right side of the road, overcorrected and ran off the left side of the road and his truck overturned twice, coming to rest on its wheels. He was taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was not wearing a safety belt.
