One Arrest In The Chillicothe Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department had more than 150 calls for Sunday and Monday and made a couple of arrests.  The report included:

Sunday:

8:50 am, Officers called to 1000 block of Graves Street about someone sitting on the ground by a couple of vehicles.  The subject was OK.

1:45 pm, Call to the 500 block of Jackson Street in reference an individual not paying for taxi services.  Officers made contact and the rider paid for the services.

3:03 pm, Complaint of young kids riding motorized scooters on sidewalk in the 1200 block of Cooper Street.  Kids were contacted by Officers and advised to cease the riding on the sidewalk.  No report.

3:31 pm, Officers were called to the Senior Citizens Multi-Purpose Center to the report of 10 OATS busses having been tampered with and exhaust parts stolen.  Investigation continuing.

8:52 pm, Officer out at business in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street on continuing investigation into tampering and theft.

Monday:

8:18 am, Officer checked a building in the 1100 block of Trenton Street with an open window.  Building was checked and secured.

2:31 pm, Report of a two-vehicle accident in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street.  A 65-year-old driver from Browning had run into the rear of another where a vehicle was struck in the rear by another vehicle.  The person was arrested for No Valid Driver’s License and Driving While Intoxicated.

3:24 pm, Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of BUS. 36 HWY for a man exposing himself to a woman in the area.   The man was contacted and resisted.  He was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and attempted to flee the scene.   The 33-year-old man was arrested and held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

7:50 pm, Officers responded to a home in the 1600 block of Polk Street on a well-being check.  Officers found the resident to need medical evaluation.  The subject voluntarily submitted themselves for treatment at Hedrick Medical Center.

9:15 pm, Officers responded to a house in the area of Directory and Dickinson Street for a report of seeing flashlights inside the residence.  Officers checked and found someone had recently purchased the house.  No report.

9:56 pm, Officer checking suspicious subject behind Park Center Shopping Center.  The subject was found to be looking in trash bins for recyclable materials.  No report.
