Chillicothe City Council – Public Hearing & Meeting

The Chillicothe City Council will have a busy meeting Monday.  The meeting will again be held by way of a Teleconference**.

The meeting will begin at 6:15 for a public hearing on the purchase of two pieces of equipment using Capital Improvement Sales Tax Funds.

At 6:30, they will have the payment of bills and salaries.

The council will consider the bids for the sewer and water projects for CMU.

Bids will be presented for the Chillicothe’s South Mitchell Road and Corporate Drive projects. And for the Chillicothe Police Department foundation repairs

Under appearance:

City Administrator Darin Chappell will present the agreement for Railroad Bridge Inspections.

He will also talk about the server upgrade for City Hall

City Attorney Robert Cowherd will present an ordinance for amending the city code for emergency purchases.

The annual contracts will also be presented for final approval

Chappell will also lead a discussion on the hiring of a full time street maintenance worker.
