A three-vehicle accident in Carroll County left a Brookfield woman with minor injuries. The accident happened Friday at about 11:10 am on US 65 at Route CC. According to the Highway Patrol, 73-year-old Gary Renzelman of Carrollton was eastbound on Route CC and failed to stop for a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Briannie Stephens of Brookfield. Renzelman’s vehicle was struck on the passenger side and slid into a westbound farm tractor driven by 56-year-old Jeffery Harper of Carrollton.
Stephens received minor injuries in the accident and was taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital for treatment. All three drivers were wearing safety belts.
