Chillicothe Police Report for Monday

The Chillicothe Police Department reported several arrests and investigations Monday.

At approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of attempted forced entry into a home in the 100 block of Polk St.  At about 2:05 am, officers located and arrested a 47-year-old man who was processed and released.

At 8:50 am, officers responded to 105 N. Herriford on a report of a protection order violation. As a result, a 53-year-old man was arrested and held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

At 9:15 am, officers took a report of a computer tower that had been stolen from an office in the 500 block of Mohawk Drive.  The investigation continues.

At 9:45 am, officers responded to the 600 block of Business 36 Highway for a man sleeping on a tarp on the property.  The man was advised to move along when safely possible.

At 11:30 am, officers checked a report of illegal dumping in the 1300 block of Clay Street. A suspect was identified and the investigation continues.

At 12:50 pm, officers took a report of a stolen weed eater and chain saw in the 300 block of S. Mitchell Ave. The investigation continues.

At about 1:00 pm, theft of a wallet from a vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Graves St, on Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 2:20 pm, officers took a report of theft of a handgun from a vehicle trunk in the 1500 block of Bryan Street; the investigation continues.

At 5:00 pm, officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street for three individuals stealing.  The suspects attempted to run and hide but were met by an off-duty police officer.  Officers arrested a 32-year-old man, a 21-year-old woman and a 48-year-old woman; they were processed and released.
