The Chillicothe Police Department reported a busy Saturday, with numerous calls for service.
5:05 AM Officers arrested a man on a Grundy County warrant. The man posted bond and was released.
8:50 AM Officers responded to the 1500 block of Springhill Street for a report of a man subject refusing to leave a home. After officers arrived, the man agreed to leave with no further incident.
10:06 AM Officers responded to the 700 block of Elm Street for an irate customer. Officers contacted a man and who was escorted from the business and asked not to return.
2:08 PM Officers attempted to make a traffic stop of a man riding an ATV near Jackson and Vine Street. The man was later spotted in the 300 block of Webster Street and taken into custody.
11:09 PM Officers responded to the 1400 block of McVey for a man who was acting belligerent. The man was noncompliant with the officer’s orders and was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. He was cited and released.
11:47 PM Officers responded to the 1000 block of South Washington for a man who appeared to be unresponsive sitting in his vehicle. Officers contacted the man who pulled over to rest.
