Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 102 calls for service Tuesday.  Some of the calls included:

4:30 am, Officers were dispatched to a report of three large dogs being aggressive with a woman while she was walking in the 700 block of Missouri Ave.  Officers reported that the dogs were gone when they arrived and Officers escorted the woman home.

9:39 am, Officers were dispatched to a report of suspicious people at a business in the 500 block of Old 36 Highway. Officers made contact with a man and woman.  The man had a warrant out of Grundy County and the female has warrants out of Clay and Cooper Counties.  They were also found to be in possession of illegal substances. They were both arrested.  The man posted bond and was released. The woman was picked up by a Cooper County Deputy.

10:09 am, Officers took a report of harassment that had taken place earlier in the 1200 block of Washington Street. The incident remains under investigation.

12:28 pm, Officers were dispatched to a report of stealing from a business in the 1000 block of Graves St. A woman was arrested, processed and released.

5:46 pm, Officers were dispatched to a report of a dog running at large in the 700 block of Missouri Ave. Officers contacted the dog’s owner and they were advised of the City Ordinances.

At about 7:00 pm, Detectives arrested on an 18-year-old Chillicothe man for unlawful use of a weapon and several counts of assault.  He is held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
