Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 90 calls for service Wednesday.  Some of those calls include:

6:38 am, Report of animals that had gotten into a dumpster and were then unable to get out in the 2600 block of Shawnee Drive.  The animals were provided a way of escape and left the scene.

11:39 am, Officers took a report of an alleged sexual assault that had occurred in the 10 block of Walnut Street.   This investigation continues.

12:09 pm, Officer checking well-being of a person in a driveway at Easton and Clay Street.  An electrical mobility device had malfunctioned but was working again.

2:05 pm, Officer assisting Family Services on child abuse investigation.

2:15 pm, Officers dispatched to Hedrick Medical Center for a disruptive person.  Officers contacted the person, who then left the building.

2:35 pm, Officer took a report of a vehicle striking a phone junction box at Third and Edgerton Street.  The utility was notified.

5:54 pm, Officer responded to Hedrick Medical Center to take a report of a dog bite.  The incident happened in the 400 block of Dickinson Street.

8:22 pm, Officers responded to the 1300 block of N. Washington Street about theft of an item from a vehicle.  No report at this time.
