An accident in Ray County Sunday afternoon took the life of one driver and left the other with minor injuries. State Troopers released the report late Monday for the accident that happened at 4:00 pm Sunday on Highway 13 at Price Drive. According to the report, 39-year-old Lucas Vaughn of Lathrop died at the scene.
Vaughn was eastbound and was making a left turn, but failed to yield to a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Mark Hill of Hamilton, who was southbound.
Hill had minor injuries and sought his own treatment.
