The shelter houses at Simpson Park will soon have new roofs. The Chillicothe City Council heard a request from the Parks Director to replace the roof on the shelters. City Administrator Darin Chappell says they are working with one of the Civic Groups in Chillicothe.
Chappell says the Parks Director has recommended they change the roofing materials and not use asphalt shingles.
The timeline for the replacement of the shelter house roofs was not determined.
