Chillicothe Police Report For the Weekend

The Chillicothe Police Department handled more than 200 calls from Friday through Sunday.  Some of the calls include:

Friday,

9:30 AM, Officers responded to the 400 block of Williams Street for a woman attempting to overdose on pills and methamphetamines.  She was uncooperative and was transported to Hedrick Medical Center where she was evaluated.  She was later transported to a mental health facility.

12:37 PM, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street for a report of suspicious activity.  Officers contacted three subjects and gave warnings for Panhandling.

10:46 PM, Officers responded to the 600 block of Bus 36 for a report of suspicious activity.  Officers arrived on the scene, but the subjects had left before the officers arrival.

Saturday,

11:58 AM, Officers responded to the 800 block of S Washington for a single-vehicle accident.  No injuries were reported.

3:01 PM, officers took a report from a subject who reported items had been stolen from his home located in the 400 block of 3rd Street on an unknown date. The investigation is continuing.

5:25 PM, Officers attempted to locate an individual who had walked away from a care facility in the 1300 block of Monroe.  Officers later located the person near Graves and Green Street.

8:20 PM, Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Business 36 and Washington street. Two people involved in the crash were transported to Hedrick Medical Center by EMS. Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to damage.

Sunday, August 30th, 2020

2:24 PM, Officers responded to the 600 block of Webster Street for a report of a domestic disturbance.  The disturbance was determined to be between father and son and was verbal.  No arrests were made.

3:20 PM, Officers registered two bicycles for some children with the Chillicothe Police Department’s Bike Registry.

4:09 PM, Officers responded to the 500 block of S Washington Street to recover an illegal item found by a citizen.

7:57 PM, Officers responded to the 1400 block of Burnam Street for a report of children in the street.  Officers contacted the children and parents and found the children had been walking along the edge of the street, as there was no sidewalk, to go to a friend’s house.

8:10 PM, Officers responded to the 400 block of Washington Street for a subject who was exposing himself as he relieved himself on a building.  Officers arrived and took the subject into custody.  The subject was transported to the Chillicothe Police Department where he was processed and released with a citation and court date.
