Chillicothe Police Report For The Weekend

Chillicothe Police responded to 140 calls for service over the weekend.

Sunday

1:11 AM, Officers responded to the 1400 block of Alexander to speak with a teenage child and their mother who were having a disagreement.  Officers were able to resolve the issues.

10:17 AM, Officers responded to the 600 block of East Street for a domestic disturbance.  Officers determined the disturbance to be verbal and both parties agreed to separate.

12:14 PM, Officers responded to the 200 block of Clay Street to recover drug paraphernalia from a vacant house at the request of the property owner.

4:22 PM, Officers responded to the 900 block of 3rd Street for a vehicle crash involving an out of control vehicle running through a fence on private property in the 300 block of Cherry Street.  No injuries were reported.

Saturday

1:12 pm, Report of someone trying to break into a storage unit at Jackson Street and Railroad tracks.  Officer checked the area and all was secure.

3:01 pm, Complaint of barking dogs at Cowgill and Smith Streets.  Officer contacted the owner and they were warned and to provide proof of shots and licenses.

4:11 pm, Report of kids trespassing on a property in the 900 block of Glenwood Drive.  Situation handled by Officers, subjects left.

7:24 pm, Report of possible illegal burning in the 500 block of Graves Street.  Fire located in the 500 block of Williams and put out.

9:09 pm, Officers responded to a subject in the 200 block of S. Washington Street that was reporting an assault.  The subject was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of injuries.  Information on the suspect was obtained and charges of domestic assault are being sought.
