Firefighters from Chillicothe, Chula, and Lock Springs responded to a barn fire on LIV 511 Sunday night. The fire call came in about 9:30 for the barn fire at 8554 LIV 511, the Charlie Peniston residents, and the fire crew arrived in 13 minutes to find the barn was fully involved. The firefighters assessed the danger to other buildings and monitored the fire to prevent spreading to other outbuildings. Once the barn had collapsed and there was no danger posed to other buildings fire units cleared the scene.
The Chillicothe Fire Department was on the scene for 50 minutes.
