Troopers investigated accidents in Linn and Nodaway Counties
Two Teens Injured:
An accident in Nodaway County Saturday evening let two teens injured. State Troopers report a 16-year-old boy from Maryville was attempting to make a u-turn and was struck on the driverside by a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Brayden Buck of Maryville.
The 16-year-old had minor injuries and refused treatment. His 15-year-old passenger from Chillicothe had moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic Hospital in Maryville. She was not wearing a safety belt.
A single-vehicle accident in Linn County Sunday evening left a St. Louis woman with moderate injuries. State Troopers report 38-year-old Tyra Nelson of St. Louis was eastbound on US 36 at about 6:15 pm and struck a deer. She was taken to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe for treatment. She was wearing a safety belt.
