Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 117 calls for service Thursday.  Some of the calls include:

12:01 am, Report of possible gunshots in the area of Polk and Maple Streets.  Officers searched the area and found nothing having caused the sounds.

8:52 am, Officers responded to the 1200 block of Clay St, for a report of a violation of an Order of protection.   This case is still under investigation.

11:48 am, an individual called the police department and spoke with an Officer about a violation of an Ex parte order.

12:04 pm, School Officer was at the Middle School about a juvenile violation.  Incident referral to Juvenile authority.

1:28 pm, Officers met with a person who is a potential victim of forgery.  Investigation is continuing.

2:14 pm, Officers responded to Business 36 and HWY 65 for a two-vehicle crash.  Neither driver was transported due to injury and neither vehicle required to be towed from the scene.

3:25 pm, Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Bryan Street for a hit and run accident involving a riding lawn mower parked in a yard.   Officers collected the information and the investigation continues.

4:45 pm, Officer took a phone call from an out-of-town person that is receiving harassing calls from an individual in Chillicothe.  The person was contacted and advised to stop making the calls.

4:56 pm, Subject calling reference theft in the 1100 block of Walnut Street.  Investigation continuing.

Officers were called several times to the area of the 1100 block of Waples Street on a report of suspicious activity.  The Officers checked and were unable to locate anything
