State Troopers report two arrests for the local area Thursday.
At about 10:25 am, Troopers in Livingston County arrested 33-year-old Daniel Wenkel of Traverse City, MI on a Newton County warrant for alleged failure to appear on a commercial vehicle overweight violation. He was processed and released.
A Coffey resident was arrested Thursday at about 11:05 pm in Miller County. Twenty-seven-year-old Austin Davis was arrested for alleged DWI with drugs and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Miller County Jail, processed, and released.
