The first Missouri Basketball Coaches Association High School Top Ten polls of the season have been released with several KCHI area schools in their respective polls.
In the Girls polls, the Chillicothe Lady Hornets are listed at #9, one spot ahead of Macon, which the Lady Hornets beat earlier this month. Cameron also received votes but not enough to place them in the top ten.
In girls Class 3, KC St Pius X of the MEC are #4. In Class 3 St Joseph Bishop LeBlond girls are 9th and the Polo girls received votes but not enough to crack the top ten.
In Class 1 girls, Norborne is 9th, and Meadville is ranked 7th.
In the Boys Poll, St Joseph Lafayette is ranked 9th in Class 5 with Kirksville, which is on Chillicothe’s Schedule, received voted but did not crack the top ten.
In Class 2 Bishop LeBlond of the MEC is ranked 7th in Class 2.
In Class 1 boys, Hale is ranked 9th, Northwest of Mendon is 6th and Winston is 3rd.
